Once Upon a Time with Ohh La La Creations

This is my final creation as a guest designer for Ohh La La Creations. It has been a joy to work for them and showcase their fabulous products. This Challenge is entitled Once Upon a Time. Since I love fairy tales and fantasy this was a fun one!

I chose to work with the White Rabbit products found on their Kiddiwinks CD. Again everything was precolored with coordinating papers. It makes it so easy to make a quick and wonderful card. At first I was going to do a belated birthday card because anyone who has seen Disney's Alice in Wonderland knows that the White Rabbit says "I'm Late, I'm late for a very important date!" I thought that would make a fantastic sentiment to go with the image.

Instead, I chose to do a spin on that saying and go with a party invitation instead. It says "Don't be late for this important date". I made an interactive card by placing my rabbit on an action wobble. The lighting is bad, but here is the card:

The outside:

 The inside:

The envelope:

This Rabbit comes as a decoupage sheet for layering. Everything was printed from Word. I cut out the full image and then layered the image of the head and arms over it to add dimension. Then I used some of the other images on the inside of the card and the envelope. The mat for the front was done using Cricut Cartridge Lacy Labels. It was cut at 4 inches. I then mounted the action wobbled rabbit onto it. The sentiment was done on Word. I inserted heart shapes, filled them in with the colors I wanted and inserted a text box for the words on the red heart. Then I just printed them, cut them and layered them. I covered them with my Wink of Stella Clear glitter brush. It wasn't glittery enough for me so I covered everything with Liquid Glass from CTMH and sprinkled Tim Holtz Stickles Rock Candy Dry Glitter over it. I wish you could see all the glitter. I also used Wink of Stella on all of the red hearts on the images and on the red layer of the mat.

For the inside I just placed a text box over the paper and typed what I wanted. I think it turned out pretty nicely. I was pleased. I tried to upload a video to show the action wobble, but it would not upload. I have never done a video before, so maybe I just don't know to upload it. It seemed to be easy, but would not work. Oh well.

I hope that you will join us at Ohh La La Creations for this fun challenge. Enter your spin on this great theme for a chance to win some images.
