Sympathy Card

I just have a quick post to share the sympathy card that I made using the sketch from this week's Mojo Monday challenge.

 

The paper is from My Mind's Eye and BoBunny. The stamp is from a stamp and die set by Sizzix/Hero Arts. The Ribbon is from JoAnn Fabrics. Inks: Early Espresso by Stampin' Up and Distress Markers Spun Sugar and Peeled Paint. I cant remember what the inside stamps are.

My final creation for 2016

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year. May God bless you throughout 2017.

This is my final creation for 2016: my December tag inspired by Tim Holtz's tags of 2016.

Paper on small tiles are from The Paper Studio's Old World Winter pack. Some of the embellishments are by Tim Holtz and some are things I have had for years. The stencil used was Tim Holtz Flourish and I sprayed the burlap with Adirondack spray. I tried the shadow press for the first time. The picture looks better I think than the actual tag but the concept is pretty cool. Everything is inked with Ground Espresso.

Although I only did a few of the tags, I sure enjoyed them. I tried products and techniques that were new to me and got some great tags in the process. I am definately going to do more tags in 2017.
