I haven't posted anything for awhile. Christmas is such a busy time. I have been cardmaking and crafting some things though and I am finally taking some time to share. My mom collects nativity scenes and so I thought I would try making this canvas trio using some techniques learned at one of the classes taught at our local scrapbooking store. Here are the pictures:
These canvases were all done using tissue paper, stamps, black staz on ink and Chipped Saphire and Faded Jeans Distress Ink. The glitter is diamond stickles and yellow stickles (stars). A rhinestone was glued to the middle of the star. I attached the canvases to each other by stapling glittery ribbon to the backs of each one. I added a hanger to the back of the top canvas because it it a bit too heavy to try to hang by the ribbon. I found a different wise men and manger scene stamp after I did this, so I am going to try to make another one using the thinner canvas board. One will be a gift for my mom and the other one I will give to my friend Deena who happens to be our preacher's wife. I found some challenges to enter. Here are the links:
