"Tea"nking of You

This card was made for the CDAC Progressive Challenge this month. The images were provide by Priscillastyles. I used the tea cup to make my own background for the card. I used Word 2007 and printed it on cardstock. Here is the picture:

Here is a picture of the back of the card so that you can see the background. The coloring is a little distorted for some reason:

 

 

 

The card is folded into thirds (sort of) to open from the middle. The self adhesive lace ribbon marks the opening. The sentiment is cut out with my Vagabond using a spellbinders die. I hand wrote the sentiment "Tea"nking of You in black. I outlined the tag and traced the words with my stardust clear pen (my favorite). Sorry my pictures are so terrible. Evidently the lighting reflected or something.  The Flowers were done using the Cricut cartridge Flower Shoppe. I inked a paper doily with Tattered Rose distress ink.I then covered it with a thin coat of 3D Crystal Lacquer and sprinkled micro fine glitter over it. I then adhered it to just the top portion of the card. The Teapot and Tea cup are colored using copics. I added green stickles to the leaves to make them pop. I then covered both images with 3D Crystal Lacquer and sprinkled them with the microfine glitter as well. Behind the teapot I placed leaves that I cut out using the cricut cartridge Straight from the Nest. I added little flowers and stickles to them also. Thanks for looking!
