Tim Inspired Christmas Tag

Hi. I'm here to share my second ever attempt at duplicating Tim Holtz's monthly tag tutorial. I really enjoyed doing this. I have never made a wreath before and even though I do not have the same products that Tim used I am very pleased with the result of this tag. Advice: when punching a hole in the burlap do not use a regular hole punch. It was easier to use it than get out my big bite, but it would not open back up. It got stuck because the burlap did not make a clean cut. I broke it trying to get it open. Lesson learned!

Recipe:

Punches: Martha Stewart Frond punch and Paper Blossoms Pine Branch
Ribbon: Christmas Washi Tape and Burlap Ribbon (tight weave)
Paper: Manilla Tag, Black Card, Color Coordinations 3 different shades of Green
Stamps: Tim Holtz  CMS155 Simple Sayings
Misc.: Small Bow and small Jingle Bells bought at Hobby Lobby, Mirrored Flower (since I didn't have a
star), red jute twine, hot glue, Sanding block, Sewing Machine\thread
Stencil: Tim Holtz Floral Stencil ( layering stencil/THS032)
Ink: Fired Brick and Walnut Stain Distress, White (can't remember the brand), Mushroom Alcohol ink
Paint: White Acrylic Paint
