This is my first Easter project this year. I have been concentrating on birthdays and the card kit swap so far this month, but time is running out and I have a couple more things to make before Easter gets here. We try to concentrate more on the religious aspect of what we try to call Resurrection Sunday, but the Easter images from Magnolia are sooo cute! When I received the images from Tabitha during a swap, I knew I somehow had to use the Exclusive Easter Egg image. It is lovely. I chose it for the lid of the pail and mounted it to the die cut with foam tape. Tilda as shepherd is perfect because Jesus is the Lamb of God. The DP was a free download from Bearly Mine. You can access the site via my sidebar if you would like to get your own. She has some very nice paper to download for free as well as purchase. The poem is my own creation. God stuck it in my head during worship service a couple of weeks ago and I wrote it down. I guess technically that makes it God's creation via me. The cross is the final freebie from Avadares. They are closing their site after this last challenge and moving on to other things. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors. A white pearl pen, stickles, and gem flowers make up the embellishments, as well as ribbon tape from J & Bobbin (?). I bought it last year at the Memories Expo in Columbus, Ohio along with some other "Washi" type tape. The box contains mostly Korean wording, so I am not sure that is the right brand. I am running out so I hope this company is there again. The expo is this coming Friday. Oh, I also used glossy accents on the egg's flowers.
